As the world unites to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, we proudly join millions across more than 200 countries in recognizing the power of ideas, innovation, and enterprise to shape a better future. This annual celebration honours the dreamers, the doers, the builders, and the bold—those who transform challenges into opportunities and possibilities into progress.
Here in Antigua and Barbuda, we embrace this week with a special sense of purpose and pride. Our nation is rich with creative talent, driven youth, and visionaries who continue to imagine new solutions for building emerging industries and strengthening our economy with courage and conviction.
This year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week holds even greater significance for us. After 18 months of dedicated planning, collaboration, and institution-building, we are thrilled to announce that the week will culminate in a historic milestone:
...the official launch of the Antigua and Barbuda Youth Business Trust (ABYBT).
The ABYBT represents an unwavering commitment to empowering our young people by equipping them with the training, mentorship, resources, and opportunities needed to build sustainable, future-ready businesses. It is an investment in the imagination, intelligence, and innovative spirit of young people and a significant step toward strengthening the Antigua and Barbuda entrepreneurial ecosystem for generations to come.
As we celebrate this global movement, we invite citizens, businesses, partners, and community leaders to join us in lifting up the entrepreneurs who drive progress, create jobs, and shape the society we aspire to build. Let us encourage innovation, support young founders, and champion the next wave of ideas that will redefine Antigua and Barbuda’s future.
This Global Entrepreneurship Week, we celebrate possibility. With the launch of the ABYBT on November 23rd, we begin building a legacy.
Happy Global Entrepreneurship Week, Antigua & Barbuda.
